About Me
For over two decades, I’ve supported adults and young adults in navigating life’s most complex and tender moments. From unexpected crises to long-standing emotional patterns. My work is grounded in a deep belief:
"Healing begins with being heard"
As a therapist, I bring warmth, insight, and collaboration. Sometimes I offer guidance and perspective; other times, I simply sit beside you. A steady presence through pain, uncertainty, or change.
I work with individuals and couples facing:
• Anxiety, depression, and burnout
• Relationship and marriage difficulties
• Grief, trauma, and loss
• Emotional overwhelm, anger, or withdrawal
• Fears, phobias, or a sense of being stuck
• Identity exploration and life transitions
• Neurodiversity-related challenges
Since 2002, I’ve practised in a wide range of settings: private practice, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric units, employee wellness programmes, community services, and higher education institutions. These experiences have taught me to meet people where they are, with compassion, flexibility, and respect for their unique process.
My therapeutic approach draws strongly on Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Brain Working Recursive Therapy (BWRT), and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) to meet your needs in a personalised way. Sessions are collaborative, attuned, and empowering.
Whether you’re holding it all together on the outside but struggling inside, or facing something that’s just too heavy to carry alone, you are welcome here.
I offer both in-person therapy at my practice in Table View, and online sessions to allow for flexibility with work, family, or distance. The Listening Place is easily accessible to clients in Milnerton, Blaauwberg, Parklands, and Century City.
